Website design for Tathra Beach House

We recently completed a website design and development project for a local hospitality provider Tathra Beach House Apartments in beautiful Tathra NSW.

From the beginning of the project, we knew the client would benefit from using WordPress as the primary CMS platform. WordPress offers many features that make maintaining a website very easy.

For the design, our own in-house designer created a lovely layout and design language that translated the brand colours seamlessly. This helped to build consistency across the client’s other marketing collateral.

Because this website is for hotel/holiday accommodation, the goal was to focus on the rooms and many features of the local area. We created a large menu system that shows off the bright photography of each room. In addition to this, we made reserving rooms easy using large booking buttons and calls to action for visitors to easily contact the front desk for reservations (the client’s preferred method).

We custom coded a WordPress theme for our client which ensured a small theme file (perfect for mobile visitors and users with low internet bandwidth) and excellent mobile responsiveness.

We also included many features to help make maintaining the site very easy such as an automatic gallery system, the ability to update room features and an integrated booking system using the client’s online booking agent.
