Trials underway in Bega…

Join us when we officially launch WISPS Internet at the Venture Launch Day on the 3rd of May at the end of the Regional Innovation Week in the Bega Valley (April 27th to May 3rd, 2016).
The Solution*

We are in the process of trialing a potential solution to this problem which will effectively eliminate black spots and provide people with internet in areas where it was not previously available and at a reasonable price.

The technology is called a “Mesh Network” which will deliver internet around natural obstructions by placing inexpensive intelligent network devices throughout the community to connect properties which could not receive broadband with those that can.

This trial will be for approximately 3 months testing locally here in Bega with a view to expand to other sites prior to a commercial release.

*Disclaimer: This concept has been proven to work, however it is still very much still at the concept stage which is why we are performing a trial to test the technology.
